Here’s a G scale car that is perfect for coal mining or a quarry operation hauling sand or rock. This resin and styrene kit depicts a rugged steel car of riveted construction. The car is 15’ in length and looks just as good behind a Shay as it does a GE 45 tonner or even our soon to arrive GE Box Cab. Looks great with 1/22.5 and 1/20.3 equipment.
The car comes complete with everything you need except trucks and couplers. The sides and ends are cast resin as are the end beams and bolsters. Styrene is used for the frame sills and slope sheets. Instructions include painting and weathering information and the plans include full size templates. This is an easy car to assemble.
